| Beijing Chaoyang District Bureau of Commerce has begun to receive the application of eligible headquarters for subsidies and rewards since August 6. Chaoyang District will ask the district-level annual budget to arrange RMB100m to support the development of regional headquarters of transnational companies and modern service industry from this year.
It was learned from the yesterday's conference that Beijing would implement the rent subsidy system on the headquarters within the region and give the subsidy of RMB1, 000 per square to self-built or purchased offices of regional headquarters that was newly settled in Chaoyang.
In addition, for the newly settled headquarters that rent offices in Chaoyang District, the government will grant rent subsidies in three concessive years, including 30% of the annual rent in the first year, 20% in the second year and 10% in the third year, and the usable floor area for maximum subsidy should not exceed 3, 000 square meters.(source:http://www.fdi.gov.cn)
